What is corporate communications?

Corporate communication is sometimes used to refer principally to external communication and sometimes to internal communication, but strictly speaking covers both.

The term implies an emphasis on promoting a sense of corporate identity and presenting a consistent and coherent corporate image. It includes activities undertaken by an organisation to communicate both internally with employees and externally with existing and prospective customers and the wider public.

The approach used by Mackintosh Oliver is to produce a strategy to tie in communications with organisation goals. The most effective approach integrates communications. This can reduce costs, simplify messages and increase the impact.

As well as consultancy support, Mackintosh Oliver also provides Interim Management through its Director Deborah Oliver.
